Amid farmers’ protest, CBSE issues advisory to students appearing for board exams — ‘leave home early’
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today issued an advisory for students appearing for their board exams from Delhi centres. As per CBSE, about 39 lakh candidates will appear for their Class 10 and Class 12 board exams starting from February 15.
In Delhi itself, 5,80,192 candidates will appear for their board exams in 877 centres.
Amid the farmer’s protest, the board has suggested the candidates leave home early due to the transportation issue. CBSE has advised that the students and their parents can take the Delhi Metro which is running smoothly.
The CBSE exams will be held from 10:30 am and the students have been asked to reach the school at least 45 minutes before the start of the examinations.
