Highest-ever dividend: The quarterly earnings season is on, and listed companies are declaring their financials for the January-March 2024 period one after the other. The latest to join the list is IT giant LTIMindtree which has also announced its highest-ever dividend payout.

The company reported a 1.2 per cent YoY decline in its net profit at Rs 1100 crore. The decline was nearly 6 per cent on a QoQ basis. LTIMindtree’s revenue for the fourth quarter of FY24 stood at Rs 8892 crore, up 2.3 per cent on a YoY basis. The IT major’s consolidated EBIT came in at Rs 1309 crore versus Rs 1386 crore QoQ.

In addition to announcing the results for the January-March 2024 period, LTIMindtree board has also recommended its highest-ever dividend for the shareholders.

“Our order inflow for the full year at $5.6 billion registered a 15.7 per cent growth over FY23. This growth reflects the positive outcomes of our positioning as an organization with scale, expanded capabilities, and larger partnerships,” said Debashis Chatterjee, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.

Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 45 per equity share of Re 1 each, for approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’).

The IT major said that the record date to determine who will be eligible to receive the Rs 45 per share dividend will be intimated in due course. “Subject to approval of shareholders, the final dividend will be paid within 10 days from conclusion of the AGM,” LTIMindtree said in an exchange filing.

The IT company has a good dividend track report and has consistently declared dividends for the last 5 years. For the financial year 2023, LTIMindtree has declared an equity dividend of 6000 per cent, which translates to Rs 60 per share.
