Hathway Cable swings back to black in Q4, reports ₹35-crore profit
Cable services provider Hathway Cable and Datacom Ltd on Wednesday (April 17) reported a net profit of ₹35 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2024.
In the corresponding quarter, Hathway Cable and Datacom posted a net loss of ₹14.6 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations increased 7.3% to ₹493.4 crore against ₹460 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 26.6% to ₹80.4 crore in the fourth quarter of this fiscal over ₹63.5 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
The EBITDA margin stood at 16.3% in the reporting quarter compared to 13.8% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
Shares of Hathway Cable and Datacom Ltd ended at ₹21.12 on Tuesday (April 16), up by ₹0.36, or 1.73%, on the BSE.
