Shah Rukh Khan extravaganza: ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,’ ‘Dil To Pagal Hai,’ and ‘Chak De India’ to re-release this weekend
Embark on a nostalgic cinematic journey as the re-release of Shah Rukh Khan’s three blockbusters – ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,’ ‘Dil To Pagal Hai,’ and ‘Chak De India’ have been announced.
In an Instagram post, the production house behind the iconic films unveiled the plans for the Nostalgia Film Festival, set to grace PVR and INOX Cinema chains from January 19 to January 22.

The weekend film festival promises to whisk audiences back in time, reliving the magic of these timeless classics on the big screen. The enthusiasm was shared via an Instagram post, stating, “Relive the magic of your favourite movies on the big screen again… Nostalgia Film Festival @pvrcinemas_official @inoxmovies from 19th-22nd Jan!”
Notably, ticket prices start as low as Rs. 112, making it an affordable and enchanting outing for movie enthusiasts.
While PVR and INOX have collaborated for this unique cinematic event, the films will exclusively be screened in select theaters across cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Surat, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi, among others.
As for the films themselves, all three feature the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan in pivotal roles. ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (1995) stands as an iconic romantic drama, co-starring Kajol, and holds a special place in the hearts of Bollywood enthusiasts. ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ (1997), directed by Yash Chopra, weaves a captivating tale of friendship and love, with Shah Rukh Khan alongside Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor. Finally, ‘Chak De India’ (2007) takes a sporty turn, portraying 11 women players overcoming societal challenges to win the World Cup in a Global Championship Match.
