BLACKPINK’s Lisa announces partnership with RCA Records

BLACKPINK’s Lisa, alongside Lloud Co., unveils a fresh collaboration with RCA Records, marking a significant milestone in her solo career. The partnership entails Lisa, also known as Lalisa Manobal, launching new solo music under RCA Records while retaining complete ownership of her recordings, as disclosed in the announcement.

Confirming the update, Lisa said in a statement, “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career. Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.”

In a united declaration, RCA’s chairman and CEO, Peter Edge, along with COO John Fleckenstein, were quoted by Variety, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Lisa and Lloud Co.! Lisa is a multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force. We are thrilled to welcome her and her team to the RCA Records family.”

After parting ways from YG Entertainment last year, Lisa announced her own company, Lloud Co, in an effort to “create a platform to showcase her overall vision in music and entertainment that pushes boundaries”. However, she will continue to engage with YG for group activities.
