Marking its entrance into India’s aviation sector, Sirius India Airlines has joined hands with Dubai-based Transworld Group to introduce luxury private air travel charter services.

Notably, the carrier’s promoter-director Arun Kashyap previously served as a Chief Operating Officer (COO) of low-cost airline SpiceJet.

“We are thrilled to introduce Airavat to the Indian market,” Chairman of Transworld Group Ramesh S Ramakrishnan said.

As per the official statement, Sirius India Airlines aims to expand its fleet by adding nearly a dozen top-of-the-line 9-seater to 100-seater charter aircraft by the end of this financial year.

Sirius India Airlines, in collaboration with Airavat Aviation, will commence operations using a Hawker 4000 aircraft. The partnership aims to expand the fleet size to three aircraft in the coming months, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth trajectory, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the joint venture is strategically positioned to offer a comprehensive solution in the charter business and fractional ownership segment, both domestically and globally.

Sirius India’s expansion plan

Sirius India Airlines has ambitious expansion plans to add nearly a dozen top-of-the-line charter aircraft ranging from 9-seaters to 100 seaters by the end of the financial year.

Further, the carrier expansion initiative reflects the company’s vision to cater to diverse customer preferences while maintaining the highest standards of service and comfort.
