Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, arrived in the theatres on Eid 2024 along with Ajay Devgn’s sports film Maidaan. Despite giving the latter tough competition, it failed to meet the expectations of critics and trade analysts. Currently, it stands at around Rs 40 crore.

On its first Sunday, BMCM failed to pack a punch and earned in single digits. The movie raked in Rs 40.75 crore on day 4 at the box office (as per early estimates).

This brought its total box office collection to Rs 40.75 crore.

While the film had a promising storyline and an ensemble cast, it suffered from cringe-inducing dialogue, overly unrealistic action scenes and illogical decisions.”
