As the latest addition to the MonsterVerse, this film marks the 38th installment in the Godzilla franchise and the 13th in the King Kong series. Since its premiere on March 29, it has garnered significant attention, grossing a substantial Rs 13.25 crore on its opening day. Its popularity has remained steadfast during its initial 10 days in theaters, and by the end of its second week, the movie has exceeded Rs 80 crore in India.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire performed well on its first 13 days at the box office and earned an estimated Rs 79.20 crore India net. As per early estimates, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire earned around Rs 1.57 crore India net on its fourteenth day for all languages. This brings the total of the film to Rs 80.77 crore at the end of week 2 in India.

Godzilla X Kong The New Empire Box Office Occupancy Report

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire had an overall 44.57 per cent English Occupancy on Thursday, April 11. Morning shows registered 24.26 per cent footfall, while afternoon shows registered 49.74 per cent footfall. Evening shows registered 59.89 per cent footfall and night shows saw 44.38 per cent occupancy.

Among regions, Kolkata saw the highest occupancy with 62.50 per cent, followed by Pune at 57.50 per cent, which is in sharp contrast to other days when South regions have been seeing larger occupancy. Chennai registered 55.50 per cent occupancy, while Hyderabad and Bengaluru saw 46.50 per cent and 38.26 per cent footfall. Mumbai and Delhi saw 49 per cent and 38.75 per cent footfall respectively.
