Crowds gather for immigration protest in Dublin
Demonstrators have gathered in Dublin for a protest about immigration.
Crowds gathered at the Garden of Remembrance before proceeding along O’Connell Street amid a gardai presence.

Many of the protesters held Irish flags and placards bearing messages such as “Irish Lives Matter” and “Coolock Says No”, while there were chants including “get them out”.
A counter protest took place outside the GPO in O’Connell Street where people held banners which read: “Unite against racism. Refugees welcome.”
