Crew Box Office collection: Kareena Kapoor Khan,Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer earns Rs 6.67 crore in its third week

Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon starrer Crew, directed by Rajesh Krishnan and duly supported by Diljit Dosnajh and Kapil Sharma has been running at the cinema halls for three weeks now. In these three weeks the film has managed to ward off competition from new and old, big and small films like Shaitaan, Madgaon Express,Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,Maidaan and has turned out to remain consistent at the box office.

The film in its its third week managed to earn Rs 6.67 crore, taking the overall total of the film to Rs 71.88 crore.It earned Rs 43.75 crore in week 1 and added another Rs 21.45 in the second week. The film entered the third weekend on a good note to earn Rs 4.2 crore. But on Monday, it saw a sharp decline to collect just Rs 55 lakhs. Tuesday onwards the film has been once again on an upward trajectory. The film on Tuesday earned Rs 60 lakhs and on Wednesday it collected Rs 84 lakhs which was a 40 % hike from Tuesday. It benefitted from the Ram Navami holiday. On Thursday the film saw a drop once again to collect just Rs 48 lakhs as per early estimates by Sacnilk. But with weekend starting today and with just two new films releasing today, Dibaker Banerjee’s LSD 2 and Vidya Balan – Pratik Gandhi starrer Do Aur Do Pyaar, Crew is expected to stand tall and cross the Rs 75 crore mark before Monday.

Crew continues to be the 8th highest grossing female-led film in India, beating movies like Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi,Taapsee Pannu’s Pink and Kangana Ranaut’s Queen.
