Crew Box Office collection: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer records its lowest collection on Monday

Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer Crew has been enjoying a good run at the box office but it seems the film faced its first major roadblock on Monday. The film, after bravely facing competition from two big films like Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in its third weekend, witnessed a sharp fall on Monday to collect just Rs 41 lakhs as per early trends noted by Sacnilk. The total collection of Crew now stands at Rs 69.81 crore.

Over the weekend, while competing with big names like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, Crew went on to mint Rs 90 lakhs on Friday, Rs 1.6 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.7 crore on Sunday, taking the weekend total to Rs 4.2 crore. The film earned Rs 43.75 crore in the first week and added another Rs 21.45 crore in week two. Crew has gone on to become the 9th highest grossing female led film beating movies like Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi,Taapsee Pannu’s Pink and Kangana Ranaut’s Queen. Going by the weekend performance, Crew was expected to perform better than its Monday numbers.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, Crew stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon as air hostesses, with Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma playing supporting roles.
