Coal India Share Price Target 2025: Shares of state-owned company Coal India are and will be in focus in the coming sessions as the PSU is set to declare the quarterly results for the January-March 2024 quarter soon. Coal India stock settled nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 443.30 on BSE on Monday.

The PSU stock is amongst the most active stocks on the bourses and has delivered multibagger returns in the past. In the last one year alone, Coal India shares have jumped 92 per cent while have delivered over 100 per cent returns in the last two years, according to BSE analytics.

Coal India Share Price Target 2025

The largest pure-play coal producer globally, Coal India is on its way to 1 billion tonnes of production over 2-3 years, ensuring energy security for all. The second largest fuel used in primary energy consumption, coal is dominant in Asia-Pacific, Anand Rathi said in a note, adding that Coal India has taken many cost-saving measures.

“Considering its focus on ramping up volumes, various cost-control measures, investor-friendly dividend policy, strong balance sheet and robust power demand, we initiate coverage on the company, with a buy rating,” it said.

With this view, the brokerage has given a ‘BUY’ rating to the PSU stock for the next 12-months. Coal India has been given a target of Rs 520.

Motilal Oswal also has a BUY rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 520.

Coal India Q4 Results 2024 Date and Time

Last week, the PSU company announced that a meeting of its board of directors will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 inter-alia to consider, approve and take on record Audited Financial Results of the Company (Standalone & Consolidated) for the 4th quarter and year ended 31st Mar’ 2024.

The company usually declares its earnings in post market hours i.e. after 3:30 pm.

Coal India Dividend 2024

Along with the quarterly results, Coal India will also announce a final dividend for the financial year 2024. “Board of Directors of the company may also, inter alia, consider recommendation of Final Dividend for FY 2023-24, if any subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing AGM,” it said.

The upcoming dividend announcement will be in addition to the two payouts already announced this year. Coal India has paid a dividend of Rs 20.5 apiece in the last fiscal already.
