‘Chiyaan 62’ shooting to commence on Vikram’s birthday

Actor Chiyaan Vikram, who is awaiting the release of ‘Thangalaan’ directed by Pa Ranjith soon, is all set to commence shooting for his next film tentatively known as ‘Chiyaan 62’ directed by SU Arun Kumar, of ‘Chithha’ fame. The star actor’s look in the film was revealed, as Vikram attended director Shankar’s daughter’s wedding earlier today.

Vikram was seen sporting a stylish long beard. Meanwhile the star actor shared a silhouette poster of the film mentioning two days to go. Looks like the first look poster of the film will be revealed on April 17, on the occasion of Vikram’s birthday. The shooting of the film is also expected to begin on the same day.

While actor SJ Suryah is also part of the film, Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has also joined the cast of the film, which would be his Tamil debut. ‘Chiyaan 62’ will be bankrolled by Riya Shibu’s HR Pictues, who have earlier produced films ‘Mumbaikar’ and ‘Thugs’. Earlier in March, the production house had also confirmed that the shooting of the film would commence in April 2024.

The teaser video of the film, which has music by GV Prakash, was released earlier last year. The teaser video gives a big glimpse into the tone of the film and how it will revolve around a fearless and daring Vikram as he walks into the police station while bashing a couple of people who seems to apparently had a spat with a women, who is already in the police station trying to file a complaint. He then walks away after he murmurs something into the ears of a police constable when questioned who he was.
