Captain America’s action director Spiro Razatos roped in Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2- Exclusive
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War was one of the biggest hits of 2019 and after being included in Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe, the stakes are extremely high for the second installment of the franchise. Aditya Chopra along with Ayan Mukerji, who replaces Siddharth Anand as the director in the second part, are leaving no stones unturned to make War 2 on a grand scale.
It began with them roping in Jr NTR as the antagonist opposite Hrithik Roshan’s character Agent Kabir. The film with the lead characters went on the floor a few days ago and the shoot began with an action sequence. ETimes has exclusively learnt that the makers have roped international action director Spiro Razatos, who is known for his stunts in films like Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The First Soldier, Fazt X, F9- The Fast Saga and very recently Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, to design and execute the action sets in the film.
Our source added, Aditya has big plans for the franchise and for the entire Spy Universe and he wants to take things to the international level, which is why they have roped in a world renowned name in the field of action for War 2. Both, Hrithik and Jr NTR have allotted about 60 days for the shoot of the film, of which 20-25 days are combination dates featuring both the actors.
After War 2, Alia Bhatt’s spy film with Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor is slated to go on floors and there are rumours about Pathaan 2 also kick-starting by the end of 2024.
