Heavy Fine on Air India by DGCA

Meanwhile, the airline has been witnessing a rough phase as it was slapped by The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) with a fine of Rs 80 lakhs. It has been reported that the penalty was imposed due to norms violation of Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) and the flight crew’s fatigue management system (FMS).

Earlier, a show cause notice was issued to the airline for the same, which was considered as “non-satisfactory”, causing a heavy penalty on the company.
