The leading carrier Air India has introduced some exciting offers for the flyers. The airline is allowing travelers to enjoy zero convenience fees on domestic flights. As per the details shared by the company, the offer has been launched for a limited period and can be enjoyed till the end of March.
To attract more customers on board, the Tata Group-owned Air India also introduced an offer called the ‘Flying Returns Offer’. It is applicable for both domestic and international flights, allowing the flyers to enjoy complimentary upgrades and other benefits, using points that are earned by flying.
Here’s How To Avail Offer
The limited-time offer can be availed via Air India’s official website. It can be benefited till the end of this year. However, interested customers are advised to book the tickets by April 30, 2024, to enjoy the offer.
Heavy Fine on Air India by DGCA
Meanwhile, the airline has been witnessing a rough phase as it was slapped by The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) with a fine of Rs 80 lakhs. It has been reported that the penalty was imposed due to norms violation of Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) and the flight crew’s fatigue management system (FMS).
Earlier, a show cause notice was issued to the airline for the same, which was considered as “non-satisfactory”, causing a heavy penalty on the company.
