‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ box office Day 6: Akshay-Tiger film holds steady
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is inching towards Rs 50-crore mark in India. The film has been holding steady during the weekdays and might see an incline during the weekend. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, received a lukewarm response from the critics and audiences alike. The film had a promising opening weekend, but it has been seeing a gradual decline in numbers.
The action thriller hit theatres on April 11 amid massive anticipation. ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ clashed with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ on the occasion of Eid.Â
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ saw a drastic drop in numbers on Monday, April 15. However, for the past two days, the film has been seeing a steady collection. On Tuesday, April 16, the movie is estimated to have earned Rs 2.25 crore net at the domestic box office.Â
In six days, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is said to have raked in Rs 45.55 crore net in the country. The film will touch the Rs 50-crore mark in a couple of days. On April 16, the Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial recorded an overall occupancy of 10.11 per cent in India.

Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is a high-octane action thriller. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist. The film also features Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Ronit Roy Bose and several others in pivotal roles. Sonakshi Sinha appears in a cameo.
Jointly produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, the film has musical score by Julius Packiam and songs by Vishal Mishra, cinematography by Marcin Laskawiec and editing by Steven H Bernard.
