Ayushmann Khurrana salutes new Parliament building, calls it ‘architectural marvel’

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently visited the new Parliament building in New Delhi. He shared his experience on social media and called the building “beautiful.” Ayushmann also appreciated the work of the artists who painted the walls of the Parliament with their craft.

Ayushmann shared a series of pictures and videos of himself from India’s new Parliament building. The first picture has him posing against the backdrop of a wall which has the words ‘Satyamev Jayate’ written on it. A photo also has him posing with the Indian flags in the background.Â

In one of the videos, the ‘Andhadhun’ actor motivated people to cast their votes as it is the “most powerful tool” to raise your voice and get your voice heard in the parliament.Â

“India is the largest democracy in the world, and we should celebrate that. India is a very young country. We have the largest amount of young population in the world. And youth is a true opinion leader of a country. If you wish to move forward, you have a powerful tool to vote and get your favourite leader to raise your voice in the Parliament,” Ayushmann said.Â

Appreciating a wall at the Parliament which is decorated with the work of several artists, the actor said, “It’s beautiful. Artist hone ke naate aap chahte ho artist ko ek darja diya jaaye (As an artist, you wish all the artists get their share of recognition).”Â

The actor was dressed in a red kurta which he paired with white trousers for his visit to Parliament. In the last video of his post, Ayushmann saluted the Parliament building.Â

“Honoured to visit the new Parliament building. Feeling proud witnessing this incredible architectural marvel that represents our shining democracy, our heritage & culture in all its glory. Jai Hind. (sic),” Ayushmann captioned his post.Â

India’s new Parliament building was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28, 2023.Â
