6 arrested for selling fake MCs at RM30 to RM50 each

PETALING JAYA: Four women and two men have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in falsifying and selling medical certificates around Kajang.
Kajang police chief Zaid Hassan said the suspects, aged 26 to 51, were detained in several locations within the district on Friday and Saturday, according to Sinar Harian.
“The suspects are believed to have been actively involved in selling medical certificates for the past year at RM30 to RM50 apiece,” he said.
The cops also confiscated a laptop, eight headphones, five pen drives, six medical certificate books, 241 medical certificates and 10 official receipts from a clinic.
The suspects are under remand until today to assist in investigations under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.
