Welcome 3 will be released in December this year.

The third instalment of the Welcome franchise, Welcome to the Jungle, will hit the theatres after much anticipation on December 20 this year. When the first glimpse of the film was unveiled last year, it generated quite a buzz due to its stellar star cast and distinction from the two previous films. Now, BTS photos from the film’s set have gone viral on social media.

One of the photos features Akshay Kumar firing a machine gun while being suspended from a helicopter. In another photo, the actor could be seen laughing about something as Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty and Disha Patani stood next to him. One of the photos also featured Raveena Tandon and Tusshar Kapoor. All actors were dressed in matching camo outfits.

Earlier, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Shreyas Talpade teased the film’s plot. He said, “It’s a pretty interesting and funny story about these guys all coming together and pulling off a kind of stunt. The brief was very clear, let’s have some madness on set and let’s make sure we entertain people. I’m looking forward to the next big schedule we’ll have in March.”

“There are some crazy scenes with me and Tusshar together. That was one of the USPs, not only me and Tusshar but also Arshad and Sanju sir are coming together,” he added.

Earlier, when the makers dropped the teaser announcement of the film, it took the nation by storm. The actors were seen singing a peppy revised version of the title song of Welcome but with a twist. Dressed in camo uniforms, the cast grooves with the song and Mika Singh, and Daler Mehndi chime in with ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’.

Welcome Back To The Jungle will be helmed by Ahmed Khan, and produced by Feroz Nadiadwala, and Jyoti Deshpande. It is slated to release during Christmas, on December 25, 2024.
