Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli are two of the greatest batters of all time. The two Indian greats hold almost all the top batting records. While Tendulkar is the highest run scorer in Tests and ODIs, Virat has scored the highest number of runs in T20Is. The 35-year-old Kohli is third on the list of leading run-getters in ODIs and has scored more than 8,000 runs in Test matches for India. Like Tendulkar, Kohli also enjoys a massive fan following all around the globe.

Many former greats and experts often compare the two batting legends and pick the greatest of all time between the two, but when, during a podcast, senior Pakistani pacer Junaid Khan was asked to pick the best between the two of them, he ignored both and instead picked a 36-year-old batter who has featured in 262 ODIs so far as the greatest Indian batter of all time.

According to Junaid, who played in six ODIs and one T20I match against India during his playing career, Rohit Sharma is the greatest batter ever produced by India. He said that the right-handed batter has all kinds of shots available with him.

Rohit, who led India to the final of the ODI World Cup 2023, made his debut in 2007 and, in the last 16 years, has played in a total of 52 Tests, 262 ODIs, and 148 T20Is, in which he has scored 3677, 10709, and 3853 runs, respectively. He is the second-leading run-getter in T20Is and the second-fastest batter to score 10K runs in ODIs. He holds the record for scoring three double centuries in ODIs and four centuries in T20Is. He has also smashed the highest number of 582 sixes in international cricket.
