Australia will face New Zealand in a three-match T20I series. The series opener will be played on Wednesday (February 21) at Sky Stadium in Wellington, and Eden Park in Auckland will host the last two T20Is on Friday (February 23) and Sunday (February 25). The hosts will miss the services of captain Kane Willamson after he pulled out due to the birth of his third child. In his absence, Mitchell Santner will lead the Black Caps.
Australia, on the other hand, will play under the leadership of Mitchell Marsh. Pat Cummins is back in the T20I side for the coveted Chappell-Hadlee Trophy, but Marsh has been retained as the captain by the Aussies.
