Infosys allows select biz units to WFH for 11 days/mth
Bengaluru: Even as the push and pull of hybrid work continues, Infosys has embraced a hybrid work model. Infosys’s employee experience platform InfyMe allows employees from select business units to apply for work from home for 11 days in a month.
“We are now in a hybrid work model. You can avail below mentioned WFH days per month and work from the office on the remaining weekdays. For additional WFH, requests would be marked as an exception and will be subjected to your manager’s approval,” the message on the InfyMe platform said. TOI has seen the message.
Last year, Infosys had asked select employees at the junior and mid-levels to return to office 10 days a month beginning Nov 20, breaking away from peers who are enforcing five-day work weeks.
Infosys’ top management, in a recent town hall, said it won’t force employees to return to office, but it will implement a roster system to provide adequate seating capacity to those working from offices, sources told TOI.
