iQoo Z9 Turbo new leak reveals key specifications: All the details

iQoo is preparing to launch a new smartphone in China, with the introduction of the iQoo Z9 Turbo. The company has set April 24 as the official launch date and confirmed this via a new Weibo post.

The iQoo Z9 Turbo follows the iQoo Z9 5G, which made its debut in India last month. The launch date for the iQoo Z9 Turbo in India remains under wraps. Ahead of the China launch, the company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

iQoo Z9 Turbo: Key details and expected specifications

Further, in a new Weibo post, Vivo vice president Jia Jingdong revealed some details about the iQoo Z9 Turbo. As mentioned earlier, the iQoo Z9 Turbo is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and will be backed up by a 6000mAh battery.

The phone will also have a 7.89mm thickness. Through the same Weibo post, we can see the iQoo Z9 turbo in a white colour option with a glossy. The images also reveal a single glass-embedded top rear camera module, which holds two camera lenses.

The OIS logo is imprinted on the camera module, which confirms that the iQoo Z9 Turbo will have Optical Image stabilisation support for shake-free videos. The power and volume buttons are on the right side. This design is identical to the iQoo 12,’s design which was launched in December last year in India.

Earlier this month, popular tipster Digital Chat Station revealed more details of the upcoming iQoo Z9 Turbo. The leak suggests that the smartphone will have a 1.5K 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is also said to offer 2160Hz PWM dimming.

In terms of optics, the phone could have a 16MP selfie camera. The dual camera setup on the back could have a 50MP primary lens and an 8MP ultrawide angle lens. The phone will also have a 6000mAh battery, with support for 80W fast charging.
