Nothing is expanding its CMF product lineup with the first smartphone called CMF Phone 1 early next month. The company is doing its usual marketing blitz to keep the product hype going on social media. The CMF catalogue already has the Buds and the Watch and neckband earphones, but a smartphone changes the equation for the sub-brand and brings it closer to the big rivals.

CMF Phone 1 launch is on July 8 and India will be a core market for this launch. Earlier reports claim the CMF Phone 1 will be launching for around Rs 12,000 which is a good Rs 10,000 cheaper than the Phone 2a but those details are far from being the reality. In fact, the CMF Phone 1 launch price is expected to be closer to Rs 19,000.

It is also said that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset, most likely the Dimensity 7300 unit. The device is tipped to feature an OLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. Recent leaks hint at a dual rear camera system but the sensor details are missing for now.

Nothing could make the product appealing by serving the clean and fluid Nothing OS version on the CMF Phone 1 as well. We assume the phone will get a large size battery that could support 33W wired charging speed. Nothing is likely to continue its no-charger-in-the-box mantra for the CMF Phone 1 as well. Nothing will also have two more products lining up with the CMF Phone 1, one of them is said to be smartwatch and the other will be wireless earbuds.
