Euro 2024: England’s front three not working – Joe Cole
Former Chelsea forward Joe Cole has suggested that England coach Gareth Southgate needs to change his front three comprising Harry Kane, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka.
According to the former England international, the front is not working.
Cole wants the coach to effect an immediate change ahead of the Three Lions’ clash against Slovenia on Tuesday.
Cole was reacting to the Three Lions’ 1-1 draw against Denmark on Thursday.
England managed to win their first game of the Euro 2024 albeit by a slender margin of 1-0 against Serbia.
While speaking on beIN SPORTS, Joe Cole said:
“I think they need to go back to basics… thicken that midfield up. The front three is not quite happening for us.”
