Clinique launches limited-edition cheek and lip oil of the lipstick that blew up the Internet

Clinique set the beauty world on fire in 2021 when an age-old lipstick suddenly became the most-wanted lip colour on the planet.

Almost Lipstick in the shade Black Honey is a sheer and balm-like lipstick in a deep cherry shade that was first launched 53 years ago now, and after some TikToker revealed it was the shade Liv Tyler wore in Lord of the Rings, everyone went nuts to get their hands on it.

It surprised everyone, not least Clinique who had to go all out to make thousands (if not millions more) of the sell-out lipstick. The lipstick was such a hit, it has inspired Clinique to go further into this shade that everyone loves and now it has launched two new beauty pieces for a limited time only.

The new Clinique Black Honey duo are a Lip & Cheek Oil plus a High Impact Mascara, the brand's most famous lash liquid. The Lip & Cheek Oil will be snapped up because as wearable as Black Honey is as a shade on all skin tones, everyone is obsessed with lip and cheek oils right now.

The oil has a perfectly shaped wand for application and it's infused with great plant oils including jojoba and castor and a sunflower seed extract which is high in healing vitamin E. So, for the lips and cheeks this is a highly nourishing and pretty beauty buy to wear.

You might think this deep cherry shade is a strange one for lashes but the red tones in the liquid are surprisingly flattering, especially for blue and green eyes. It's subtle too, but those hues make the eyes pop so it's worth checking out if you are in the market for a new mascara.
