The Wiggles star John Pearce and wife Jessie announce baby news

Purple Wiggle and former Justice Crew star John Pearce is expecting a baby.

Pearce and his wife Jessie announced the happy news via Instagram on Thursday, sharing a heartwarming video of the pair finding out the gender of their soon-to-be newest family member.

Pearce — who was part of the music group Justice Crew — popped a black balloon to reveal blue confetti indicating their baby would be a boy.

The post also included an ultrasound photo.

“It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us. We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you,” the post was captioned.

Fellow Wiggles flooded the post with congratulatory messages.

Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins said: “Such beautiful souls with the most amazing news!! 😭You two are going to be incredible parents!!! Biggest love and congratulations to you both.”

Original Blue Wiggle Anthony Field said: “Johnny and Jess ❤️❤️❤️.”

Field’s daughter Lucia, also a Wiggle, added: “My heart is exploding. you’re going to be the most beautiful parents!”

Red Wiggle Caterina Mete said: “The best news, so happy!!!! You two will be the most beautiful parents, congratulations! My girls and I can’t wait to meet your little one.”

The second Red Wiggle Simon Pryce said: “Congratulations. How exciting.”

Purple Wiggle Lachy Gillespie said: “Ohhhhh Jess and Johnny!!! Wow! Congratulations!!!!”

Pearce’s brother Lenny also left a touching comment saying: “YAYYYYY!!!! So excited for you both!!!!”

Justice Crew were the winners of Australia’s Got Talent in 2010 and went on to create popular songs such as Boom Boom, Best Night and Que Sera.
