Penn Badgley was back to work on Wednesday as he filmed scenes for the upcoming fifth and final season of Netflix's You.
He has played the lead role of stalker-turned-serial killer Joe Goldberg in the hit psychological drama since its inception in 2018.
Instead of the character's now-signature ball cap and bomber jacket, Badgley, 37, strolled around set in New York City in a black tank top.
It showed off his lean torso and muscular arms as he prepared to step in front of cameras.
The top was styled with navy blue slacks and shiny brown leather dress shoes.

Later in the shoot, Badgley threw on Goldberg's cap and jacket combo to act in front of a newspaper stand.
He scanned through a tabloid magazine before crossing the street.
In between takes, Badgley spoke to director Marcos Siega and looked over his lines.
The Gossip Girl alum was joined on set on Wednesday by new cast member Michelle Hurd, 57.
He and the Anyone But You star shot a scene outside of a bookstore.
Badgley could be seen checking out a hardcover book while Hurd stared at him with her hands clasped.
You first premiered in 2018 on Lifetime, chronicling Joe's experiences in New York City where he becomes infatuated with NYU graduate student and writer Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).
Transitioning to Netflix for its second season, the show relocated to Los Angeles, depicting Joe, now assuming the identity of Will Bettelheim, working at a bookstore and falling for heiress and wellness expert Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).

In the third season, Joe/Will begins to establish a stable life by marrying Love and starting a family, yet his fixation on two new women persists.
In the fourth season, Joe/Will relocates to London, assuming the persona of Jonathan Moore, an English professor entangled in high society.
Season five began shooting in March and it was originally reported that it would premiere on Netflix sometime in 2024.
Anna Camp and Griffin Matthews were added to the cast along with Madeline Brewer, who is expected to play Joe's new romantic fixation in the final chapter.
Brewer will portray Bronte, an enigmatic and adventurous playwright who embarks on a stint at Joe's bookstore.
Badgley recently surprised fans by appearing as singer Ariana Grande's love interest in the music video for her new single The Boy Is Mine.
In the Batman-inspired video, which was released earlier this month, follows Grande as Catwoman, on a mission to win the heart of Mayor Max Starling, played by Badgley.

Grande confirmed Badgley's cameo prior to the video's release while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the day prior.
