Ever since Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark entered the WNBA, the level of physicality in the league has been a hot topic of debate.
Most recently, Clark got smacked on the back of the head by Sky forward Angel Reese while going for a layup during Fever's 91-83 win over Chicago.
Reese said after the game, “Y’all are probably going to play that clip like 20 times before Monday.”
Doris Burke, the first woman to serve as a game analyst on TV for a championship final, couldn't help but drop a one-liner about Clark during Game 5 between the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics.
With 9:23 remaining in the second quarter, Mavericks forward P.J. Washington gave a hard shoulder to Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis and dragged him to the ground.
"If that were Caitlin Clark it would have sparked a debate for a week," Burke said.
Viewers couldn't help but laugh at Burke's comment about Clark, as she wasn't wrong.
However, Clark doesn't play when victim when she gets knocked down. "It's just part of basketball," Clark told reporters on June 16.
