Eunice Keter, from Diani in Kwale county, has cracked dribs online after showing the classic cars her father is hoarding in their compound.

Eunice's dads hoard cars and phones

In a humorous Facebook post, Eunice said that a visitor walking into their compound would be forgiven for thinking that the family was entertaining visitors in their home.

"It's just his old cars that he has refused to let go of. When people hoard things like clothes and sufurias, my father is hoarding cars. Imagine that! Ooh, and phones, too. He keeps his dead phones; all of them are and must be Samsung," she shared.

"His first car was a white pickup; I have very beautiful childhood memories of that pickup. You know, going to church, the wind blows in your face, and when it hits potholes, you all fall on each other like sacks," she remembered nolstagically.

Where is St Brigids?

Eunice also remembered going to watch the safari rally in Iten viewpoint and they would be sprayed with mud.

"You go back home looking homeless but with a lifetime of happiness," she said.

"The blue one in the middle is what he had when I was in high school. You people know I went to St Brigid's, yes, but do you know the type of cars that used to pull up on visiting days? Eeh! Big, big machines!" she said.

As she wished her dear dad happy Father's Day she vowed to get him another swanky car for his collection.

"I'm just waiting for some small amount of money. I get him a Ford Ranger double cab and I tell him to throw away this garbage," she promised.

"He is a farmer, and therefore, he needs a big car to carry out his work properly. Happy Father's Day to my old man," she added.
