Bec Judd reveals what happened to the famous red dress that launched her career at the 2004 Brownlow Medal
Former AFL star Chris Judd may have been crowned the 2004 Brownlow medallist, but his now wife Rebecca arguably shone brighter that night as she rocked a red dress that had heads turning and cameras flashing.
Two decades later, the WAG has revealed exactly what happened to the frock that put her on the fashion map.
Just 21 at the time — known then as Rebecca Twigley — the model and fashionista’s plunging neckline offered the most eye-catching and revealing look seen for sometime at the annual awards, which crown the AFL’s best and fairest player.

The trailblazing outfit, crafted by Perth designer Ruth Tarvydas, exposed Judd’s lean physique and belly button piercing.
“Definitely a moment! Can’t believe it’s been this long!” she told Zen Design recently as she recalled the evening.
But those hoping the iconic frock still holds a place in her wardrobe will be disappointed.
“The dress was given to charity, which was auctioned off, and I have not seen it since that night,” she admitted.
At the time, the co-founder of fitness fashion label Jaggad was slightly unsuspecting of the interest she would receive for her bold wardrobe choice.

“I really didn’t think it would grab that much attention, but I got hounded on the red carpet,” she told The Herald Sun.
“Everyone wanted an interview and pictures.”
Husband Chris, who starred for West Coast and Carlton before retiring in 2015, told the publication that their lives changed after that night.
“It did feel like a before and after event. Some wonderful opportunities opened up from it,” he said.
“Life was just very different.”
