Orlando Pirates: Two new signings replace Monare and Makaringe
Orlando Pirates have already made two big decisions to replace senior players. Newer reports say the Sea Robbers have signed the replacements.

Jose Riveiro’s team confirmed parting ways with two senior midfielders Fortune Makaringe and Thabang Monare last week. Not too long after that, Orlando Pirates reportedly signed Thalente Mbatha on a permanent deal.
According to SABC Sport, Mbatha’s former SuperSport United teammate, Selaelo Rasebotja has also put pen to papter to join Orlando Pirates.

MPHO MAKOLA REVEALS PLANS WITH KERMIT ERASMUS
Most Orlando Pirates supporters can agree that Kermit Erasmus and Mpho Makola are club legends. The latter has revealed a new exciting plan.
The 38-year-old Makola retired in 2022 after he was released by Polokwane City. The former Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates midfielder spent the past two years coaching in the fourth division. Speaking to the media this week, the Groblersdal-born star revealed he will pursue his coaching badges and also start a podcast with his former teammate Erasmus.
“Now I’m just planning to get my badges, not that I want to be a coach one day, maybe just to take up a technical director role,” Makola told FARPost.
“For now, I’m going to continue coaching the young boys [in the amateur leagues]. I’m done playing, I’m not tired, my body is still fit because I train with these players. But I’m also going to be busy with my podcast with Kermit Erasmus. I’m also having my tournament in Tafelkop [Limpopo] in December.
AUBREY NGOMA TO RETIRE?
Former Orlando Pirates winger Aubrey Ngoma seems to have arrived at the end of his football career.
After watching another season come and go without a club, the former AmaTuks, Cape Town City and SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates winger is thinking about calling it a day.
“Aubrey, he’s already planning his next move because he can tell that maybe his playing days are behind him. Let’s be honest, he also didn’t get much game time at SuperSport,” a source close to Ngoma told the Citizen.
“I know he started with his coaching and don’t be surprised to see him join Tuks as a junior coach because his experience will no doubt come in handy. He still has a good relationship with the club having started his career there,” the source concluded on the former Orlando Pirates attacker.
