Rangers poised to win eighth NPFL title

Rangers will look to win their eighth Nigeria Premier Football League title when they take on Bendel Insurance at ‘The Cathedral’ Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday (today).

To achieve the feat, the Flying Antelopes will must beat the Benin Arsenals and hope their rivals Remo Stars and Enyimba drop points in their respective games.

Remo Stars, who occupy second position on the table, will be away to Sunshine Stars in Akure.

Holders Enyimba will be up against Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

Rangers occupy top spot on the table with 64 points from 36 games, Remo Stars have 62 points, while Enyimba are third with 60 points.

Rangers last won the NPFL title in 2016.
