In Washington DC and Los Angeles in the USA, young demonstrators rallied at the Kenyan Embassy to show solidarity with their counterparts in Kenya,
According to a video shared by the Nairobi gossip club, they strongly criticised the government under William Ruto and demanded the bill's rejection, echoing widespread outrage across the nation.
"Bado mapambano bado mapambano! One Kenya One people, one people one voice," they sang as they held placards with #reject finance bill and #Rutomustgo prints.
The demonstrators were young social media creators who promised to amplify the voices of Kenyans oppressed by the bill.
Luckily, the police allowed them to speak freely without intimidation or hindrance to their freedom of expression.
