Euro 2024: Chris Sutton predicts Portugal vs Georgia, Italy vs Croatia clashes
Former Chelsea star, Chris Sutton, has predicted the upcoming Euro 2024 fixtures between Italy versus Croatia and Portugal versus Georgia.
The match between Italy and Croatia will take place on Monday night, while that of Portugal and Georgia will take place on Wednesday.
Providing his predictions, Sutton was quoted by BBC Sport as saying:
“It’s hard to back either team, to be honest, but I am going to stick with my forecast that Croatia will flop.
“I don’t know why, based on their performance against Spain, but I am backing Italy. Croatia 0-1 Italy.”
On the Portugal vs Georgia clash, Sutton said: “I love the way they have played so far but Portugal will have too much experience and quality for them. Georgia 0-2 Portugal.”
