Met Office Saturday Evening Weather Forecast 15/06/2024

Hello, good evening. Well, we've seen plenty of showers around today, some of these quite heavy at times with some thunderstorms across the northern part of the UK to where we have had a yellow weather warning in force through into the evening. We'll continue to see plenty of those scattered showers sweep their way across the UK, some longer spells of rain moving into northern parts of Scotland, some quite blustery winds across the northwest and on the whole, a largely cloudy night, which means it's going to be remaining mild. As we head through into the second part of the weekend, it's still going to be largely unsettled. Those outbreaks of rain continuing to move their way southwards across Scotland and then later on into Northern Ireland. Still plenty of those sunny spells and scattered showers elsewhere. Once again, one or two could be largely heavy. On the whole, they should see a bit more sunshine in between those showers. It will still be feeling warm across the southeast with highs of 21, perhaps even 22 Celsius in those prolonged sunniest spells. As we head through into tomorrow evening, then we'll continue to see those outbreaks of rain push into northern parts of England, but on the whole, across central and southern parts of the UK, it should be a largely drier night on offer. Still plenty of cloud around there, which means those temperatures once again are largely going to be on the mild side. To start the new working week then across central and southeastern parts of the UK should generally be a much drier day. Plenty of sunny spells, the chance of the odd shower. But elsewhere across Wales and the northern half of the UK and at times across Northern Ireland there is still a chance of showers and once again these could be heavy at times with the odd rumble of Thunder. Temperatures once again for most of the country around about average for the time of year, if not a notch above, but across the southeast feeling warm in those sunny spells. With highs of around 22 Celsius. Forget you can always subscribe to our YouTube channel for any further updates, or you can follow us on social media. Bye for now.
