AEC proposes abolishing federal sear at next election
The truth of the matter is that sadly, while we've had an incredible run in this 47th Parliament, the issues that saw my community send me to North Sydney, those issues being faster action on climate, integrity and transparency in politics and a fair go for everyone who finds themselves in Australia, are just as pressing today as they were in 2022 when we saw that election. So the work of the community independent movement is anything but done. And I know I speak for the residents of North Sydney, regardless of what seat they may end up in, and saying they will continue to demand that sort of government and that sort of representation for themselves at the federal parliamentary level.
