Tat Stock, Rs 28 DIVIDEND Tata Stock: Tata Investment Corporation Limited, a Tata Group stock, is all set to pay dividend to its shareholders. The Tata company has already announced the dividend amount, ex-date and record date (book closure date).

Tata Investment Corporation, headquartered at Mumbai, is a non-banking financial company involved in investing in long-term investments.

According to information available on BSE website, the Tata stock has declared a whopping 280 per cent dividend payment on each stock of Rs 10. A dividend is always calculated and paid on the face value of each stock. Accordingly, the 280 per cent dividend translates into a payout of Rs 28.

"The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of Rs 28 (280%) per ordinary share of Rs 10 each...," the Tata company had announced on May 23.

According to BSE website, Tata Investment Corporation shares will trade ex-date for Rs 28 dividend on June 18.

The board has Tata Investment Corporation has set book closure date for determining the eligibility of shareholders' participation in the next dividend.

"Rhe Register of Members and the Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from Wednesday, June 19, 2024 to Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (both days inclusive) for taking record of the Members of the Company for the purpose of the 87th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and payment of dividend," the company said in a separate filing.

The dividend is subject to the approval of the members of the company at the AGM which will take place on July 10.

"The dividend, if approved by the members at the ensuing AGM will be paid on or after Wednesday, July 10, 2024," the company said in a statement.

Tata Investment Dividend History

Tata Investment Corporation is a constituent of BSE 500. According to BSE website, the Tata company had in 2023 paid a dividend of Rs 48 on each stock. In 2022 and 2021, the Tata stock rewarded its investors by paying a dividend of Rs 55 and Rs 24, respectively, on each stock.

Back in 2020, Tata Investment distributed a dividend of Rs 18 on each stock to its investors.

In one year, the Tata stock has more than doubled investors money as it rallied 182 per cent. In the last two, three and five years, the Tata stock has delivered an impressive return of 381 per cent, 472 per cent and 670 per cent, respective. The counter has made its investors by more than 1100 per cent in the last 10 years.

Tata Investment shares on Friday closed at 5 per cent circuit of Rs 6,732.60 on BSE. Its shares have a 52-week range of Rs 9,744.40 - Rs 2,278.50. The company commands a market cap of Rs 34,063.79 crore.
