MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed Antonio Baltazar Nebrida Jr. to lead the People's Television Network Inc. (PTV), the government's official TV station.
The President signed the appointment of Nebrida as acting general manager of PTV on June 10, according to a Palace source.
Nebrida replaced broadcaster Analisa Puod, who served at least a year as PTV general manager.
Aside from being the network's acting general manager, Nebrida will be sitting on its board of directors as a representative of the private sector.
Prior to his latest appointment, Nebrida served as spokesman of the Department of Migrant Workers.
