Parts of NCR, Laguna, Bulacan to experience power interruptions on June 18-21

Meralco to hike power rate this March due to oil spike

Power service interruptions will be experienced in parts of Pandacan in Manila, BGC in Taguig, Kamuning in Quezon City, Laguna, and Bulacan due to scheduled maintenance activities from June 18 to 21.

In advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be conducting line reconstruction works along Beata near Sto. Niño Street in Pandacan, Manila from June 18 to 19.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, June 18 and 4 a.m., Wednesday, June 19 are:

• Portion of Lorenzo Dela Paz Street from Beata Street to Jesus Extension Street including Certeza Street.

There will also be line maintenance works inside Fort Bonifacio Global City, Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 19.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 9:05 am and then between 1:55 p.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Icon Plaza, Seibu Tower, RCBC – A. T. Yuchengco Centre, Sun Life Centre, Fort Victoria, Philippine Realty Holdings Corp., and Singapore Embassy in Fort Bonifacio Global City.

Meralco will be conducting energization of facilities and line reconstruction works in Barangay San Francisco, Biñan City, Laguna on June 19.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 12 noon are:

• Portion of South Road from Road 18 to East Road in San Agustin Village (Meriño Subdivision).
• Portion of Job Street from West Road to Exchange Boulevard in Juana Complex Subdivision, Phase 6.
• Portion of Genesis Avenue from Matthew Street to Samuel Street in Juana Complex Subdivision, Phase 6.

It will be relocating facilities along Quezon Avenue in Barangay Paligsahan, Quezon City from June 19 to 20.

Affected between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, and then between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., Thursday, June 19, are:

• Portion of Panay Avenue from Scout Reyes Street to Timog Avenue in Barangay South Triangle.
• Portion of Scout Reyes Street from near Quezon Avenue to and including Scout De Guia and Scout Fuentebella Streets in Barangays Laging Handa and Paligsahan.
• Portion of Mother Ignacia Avenue from Scout Reyes Street to near Scout Limbaga Street in Barangays Laging Handa and Paligsahan.
• Portion of Quezon Avenue from Timog Avenue to near Scout Borromeo Street in Barangay South Triangle and West Triangle.

Affected between 11 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, and 5 a.m., Thursday, June 20 are:

• Portion of Quezon Avenue from Lifeline Diagnostics Supplies Inc. to Timog Avenue including Scout Reyes Street in Barangays Laging Handa, Paligsahan, and South Triangle.

Meralco will be replacing a leaning pole along B. Bernardo Street in Barangay Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan on June 20.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. are:

• Portion of B. Bernardo Street from near Governor Fortunato Halili Avenue to and including Okachi Neon Mfg. Corp., Kooperatibang Masa, Wilbond Chemicals Inc., ASA Color & Chemical Industries Inc., ASA Color Trading Corp., F16 Construction Corp.; and Mauricio St. in Barangays Bolacan and Turo.

There will also be installation of pole and line reconstruction works along Dinar Street in Saint Michael Homes Subdivision, Phase 2, Barangay Pandayan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan on June 20.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Dinar Street from Dollar Street to and including Halasan Road in Palanas Area Compound; Fundador, Johnny Walker, and Cognac Streets
• Portion of Gladiola Street from Dinar Street to Sampaguita Street including Orchid Street.

It will also be conducting replacement of poles, line reconductoring works, and installation of new poles in Heritage Homes, Barangay Loma De Gato, Marilao City, Bulacan on June 20.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Along Sunflower Street from Heritage Homes Main Road to and including Metro Gate Meycauayan 2–3, 2–4 & 2–4A, Metro Gate Subdivision Phases 1 & 2, and Heritage Homes Phases 5, 6, & 9

There will be line conversion works along Highway Homes Subdivision in Barangay Platero, Biñan City, Laguna from June 20 to 21.

Affected between 11 p.m., Thursday, June 20, and 2 a.m., Friday, June 21, are:

• Highway Homes Subdivision along Maharlika Highway in Barangay Platero, Biñan City.
• Romanville Subdivision along Maharlika Highway in Barangay Tagapo, Santa Rosa City.
