A young man has been rushed to hospital after colliding with a tree.
Emergency services rushed to the scene St Kilda, in Melbourne's inner southeast, after the driver collided with the tree at about 5.30am on Friday.
The driver, a man believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was trapped for a short time inside their vehicle before they were rushed to The Alfred for treatment.

The scene remains cordoned off from the public with police tape.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the investigation was ongoing.
