Today on Pinstripe Alley - 5/22/24
Last night’s Yankees game felt like when you have a popcorn kernel stuck in your teeth and you can’t quite get it out, even when you’ve accepted defeat and forced yourself to floss. That’s the nicest thing I can say about it. (Yes, it was cool to see Gleyber Torres go deep at least.)
Today on the site, Nick P. will delve into Anthony Rizzo’s battles with fellow southpaws early this year, and Matt will handle the Rivalry Roundup and also break down a doubleheader with the White Sox on this day in 1999. Later on, Peter will analyze Nestor Cortes’ changeup usage in advance of his start tonight, Andrés will discuss how Marcus Stroman has won at least some skeptical fans over, and John will explore the Yankees’ recent outfield defense evolutions.
