Services and manufacturing PMIs higher than expected
Some long-awaited PM eyes. Let's get to Rick Santelli. Hey Rick. Yes, and those jobless claims are well behaved, but interest rates didn't go up much. They're coiling, but boy, this number, look at interest rates pop S&P global PM eyes stronger than expected. Manufacturing 50.9. Now that's just the highest since March when it was 51 nine. But let's look at services. Services at 54.8, the best since May of last year. We'll call it one year. Now, these are preliminary readings. They can't change. And if we look at the composite, another blockbuster 54.4, that's the best reading since April of 22. We'll call that basically two years. So we are now up close to 447 in the 10 year, which is 4 basis points now higher than it was yesterday. After trading below yesterday's low, it's now above yesterday's high. That's an outside day. Pay attention, technicians and Squawk on the Street will return after a short break.
