Queensland ‘needs’ a new stadium that will ‘serve’ the community for generations
Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman discusses the state’s latest plan to rebuild the Gabba, which could cost $1.1 billion and reduce the number of seats by 4,000.
“I actually do think we need a new stadium, and it needs to be a stadium that will make the state of Queensland proud and Brisbane residents proud and can serve the community appropriately for generations to come,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.
