Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 1

Over the past day, 30 June, 142 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Most of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Over the past day, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces hit two control points, an ammunition depot, one air defense facility, and 16 areas where Russian personnel was concentrated," the General Staff writes.

Sectors

Russians continued their offensive in the Kharkiv sector. A total of 16 firefights took place. The fighting took place in the areas of Lyptsi, Vovchansk, and Hlyboke.

There were 10 firefights in the Kupiansk sector. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Synkivka and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region, as well as near Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman sector, 16 Russian attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Nevske, Makiivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske in the Donetsk region.

In the Siversk sector, 8 Russian assaults were repelled near Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka in the Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russians attempted to advance 10 times in the areas of Klishchiivka, Novyi, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk sector, Russians conducted seven attacks near Pivdenne, Pivnichne, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 42 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Progress, Novoselivka Persha, and Sokil in the Donetsk region.

In the Kurakhove sector, 17 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russians made 12 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka, and Makarivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russians tried to advance near Charivne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Orikhiv sector, 3 firefights took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

There were no significant changes in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Over the past day, 30 June, as reported by Ukraine's General Staff, the Ukrainian Defence Forces eliminated another Russian 1110 occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 543,000 soldiers.

Also yesterday, 19 tanks, 66 artillery systems, 1 MLRS, and more were destroyed.
