Darragh Ennis challenged Star Wars fans to a 'tough' quiz

Calling all Star Wars fans - put your knowledge to the test with this tricky quiz.

Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises in the world and has spawned several hugely successful films and even spin-off TV shows. Most of us will have seen at least one Star Wars film in our lifetimes and some of us are die-hard fans who spend every Christmas having a movie marathon of the saga.

But if you're a Star Wars whizz, how many questions do you think you could answer on the franchise's most obscure facts? Darragh Ennis, best known as The Menace on the ITV quiz show The Chase, put together some difficult questions on the Star Wars universe and believes they're so hard that even the biggest movie buffs can't ace the test.

In a video on his @bonesgiles TikTok account, Darragh described his quiz as "elite level". The test contains just five questions spanning everything from the original trilogy to the spin-off series The Mandalorian, so you'll need to have watched it all if you want a chance of getting 100%.

He said: "I'd say give it a try but there is no try - do or do not. Let's see if you're nerdy enough to get all five."

First up, Darragh asked participants to name a character from the franchise. He shared a picture of a man dressed in a burgundy uniform. You'll need to watch the video to see the picture for yourselves, but we'll give you a hint to make it a bit easier - it's the character played by Hugh Quarshie.

The second question was more straightforward: "Why was Luke planning on going to Tosche station?"

Question three involved another picture, this time of a creature that looked like a furry rhino with one large horn protruding from its face. The question was: "In The Mandalorian, we see one of these creatures being lifted by Grogu using the force. What is the name of that creature?"

The fourth question was: "What is the name of the home world of the Wookies?" and then the final question again showed a picture. The final image showed a space ship which Darragh described as "the very first ship we see in the franchise". The question attached to it was simply: "What is it called?"

Answers

  1. The captain of the Naboo Royal Guard, Captain Panaka
  2. Luke was going to get some power converters
  3. Mudhorn
  4. Kashyyk
  5. Tantive IV

At the end of the quiz, Darragh asked participants how many they got right, and noted: "I did say it would be hard. Let me know if you got any of those right. I think if you get more than two or three of those, you're doing really well."

How many did you get right? Let us know in the comments!
