Channel 4 star, 24, 'found dead' in suspected double murder

A Channel 4 TV star is believed to have been found dead in a Staffordshire home, with a man's body located alongside a woman's body.

Police have mounted a double murder probe after the discovery in Cannock at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, 25 June – believed to be the bodies of 999: On The Front Line star Daniel Dufford, 24, and Lauren Evans, 22, according to MailOnline.

Staffordshire Police said in a statement: "Specially-trained officers have been assigned to support their families at this tragic time."

"A cordon has been set up in the area whilst we carry out enquiries to understand the circumstances of the deaths. We'd like to ask people not to speculate whilst we do this," reports The Express.

Daniel's on-screen partner Ellie has paid an emotional tribute to him online. He appeared on the eleventh show of the Channel 4 series.

The student paramedic wrote: " Never in a million years did I think I'd have to sit and write this and yet I'm still trying to come to terms with it."
