Bronny James has been seen out in New York City as he waits to find out if he will be selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft.

The Los Angeles Lakers opted against using their first-round pick to draft LeBron's  James' eldest son, who was snubbed entirely on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, the 19-year-old was spotted stepping out of a car in New York, wearing pink sneakers a matching pullover on his shoulders.

The first round of the draft was a glitzy ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where Zaccharie Risacher became the second Frenchman in as many years to be drafted first.

This is the first time in history that the NBA draft is a two-day event. The ceremony on Thursday will be a more low-key affair, held in New York City's Seaport district.

It is uncertain if Bronny will the attend the event, where he is projected by some to be selected by the Clippers. That would put him on the other side of the Los Angeles divide to his father.

The 19-year-old and his entourage were nowhere to be seen at the Barclays Center as Los Angeles used the 17th overall pick to select Dalton Knecht of Tennessee.

Instead, LeBron shared footage of himself with Bronny and his younger son Bryce, 17, hooping in Manhattan on Instagram, captioning his post: 'Not a feeling in the world better than being around raising my boys to MEN!

'Pops over here getting emotional as hell just thinking yall journey so far! Thank you both for allowed me to be your DAD and be part of your compass through life's trials and tribulations!'

The 19-year-old did not get a call from any NBA coaches or general managers on Wednesday

Bronny's college teammate at Southern California, Isaiah Collier, was drafted in the first round (No 29) by the Utah Jazz.

Ahead of Thursday's second round, former NBA player Tim Legler hilariously suggested the Boston Celtics should renew their 'cold war' with the Lakers and hold Bronny 'ransom'.

'I like movies, I like true crime, I'm just saying: 54th pick, we renew the cold war between the Celtics and the Lakers,' he said.

'The Boston Celtics take Bronny James and they send a ransom note to the Lakers: "We have your son and if you want him back, it's going to take Austin Reaves, it's going to take whatever you want..." that's a Netflix documentary right there.'
