Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen snapped with son Reuben before row over ex Clive erupts

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen shared a rare snap with her son Reuben Owen - which sparked a row alongside well wishes.

Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen rose to fame on the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm but her social media is a lot less busy than it used to be since the series was cancelled following her separation from Clive Owen at the Ravenseat farm.

Since the split, the pair's eldest son Reuben, 20, has gone on to star in his own show Reuben: Life In The Dales, which just finished its first series.

Today Reuben shared a rare pic of himself with mum Amanda which immediately drew a row in the comments over Reuben's dad and Amanda's ex, Clive Owen.

Reuben shared a post alongside her mum Amanda which said: "Picture of me and the boss" and tagged Amanda's Yorkshire Shepherdess account.

A beaming Amanda was seen wearing a pink gingham dress slightly open at the cleavage while Reuben donned a bright orange pullover hoodie with his business logo emblazoned on it, throwing a thumbs up to the selfie camera.

One of the top comments on the post was from @adamsikvin which said: "Where is your father? Why don't you post his picture any more?"

Others put Adam right. @sunnygardener21 said: "He made it clear he don't want to be in the limelight. He's done his bit and now he's retreated. His choice. He's a farmer, he's busy."

@deborha480 added: "FFS leave the poor man alone. He doesn't owe it to anyone to be on social media, least of all you!"

@alex_green1984 added: "Amanda explained prior to their separation that he didn't really want to be in photos on social media. The programme was always hers and never his. Not everyone wants themselves plastered all over social media platforms."

Clive Owen on Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm

Clive Owen did star in one mini-series with Reuben - Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive, which gave rise to Reuben's full series on his own.

But Clive has previously spoken of how he's not interested in being on social media, despite the fact his series with Reuben beat Amanda Owen's More 4 spin-off, Amanda Owen's Real Farming Lives, in the ratings.
