Kaizer Chiefs outgoing winger chased by three PSL clubs already

Kaizer Chiefs outgoing winger is being tracked by three PSL Clubs already according to Soccer Laduma. In a significant development, midfielder Keagan Dolly is poised to depart Kaizer Chiefs as his contract reaches its end this June. SuperSport United has emerged as the frontrunner in negotiations to secure his signature ahead of the upcoming season.

SuperSport is currently in advanced discussions to acquire Keagan Dolly, a seasoned player with experience at Montpellier in France. The club has swiftly moved to bolster their squad, aiming to enhance their competitive edge and vie for top honours in the new campaign.

Dolly’s Stint at Kaizer Chiefs

Keagan Dolly’s return to South Africa in 2021 saw him join Kaizer Chiefs amidst high expectations. However, his time at the Soweto giants was marked by challenges. Which included injuries and inconsistent form that impacted his performance and contribution to the team’s success. Consequently, the club has opted not to extend his contract beyond this season.

Interest from Other PSL Clubs

While SuperSport United is leading the race for Dolly’s signature, but other notable clubs such as Cape Town City and AmaZulu have also expressed interest in acquiring his services. However, insiders familiar with the negotiations suggest that SuperSport United is likely to finalise the deal. Highlighting their determination to secure the talented midfielder.

The potential move to Matsatsantsa represents a new chapter for Kaizer Chiefs outgoing and creative midfielder Keagan Dolly. Which offers him the opportunity to reignite his career under different circumstances. With talks progressing positively, all parties involved are optimistic about reaching an agreement soon.

Stellies release another midfielder

In other PSL news, Stellenbosch FC confirmed that Gambian winger Salifu Colley is leaving the club after just one season. The Gambia under 20 international joined Stellies in August last year following an impressive showing at the U20 FIFA World Cup. However, he struggled to establish himself in the first team due to Devin Titus, Anicet Oura, and Antonio van Wyk being ahead of him in the pecking order. The club and Colley have now mutually agreed to part ways.

According to a club statement, Colley arrived at Stellenbosch from Real de Banjul at the beginning of the 2023/24 season and managed five appearances during his brief spell in the Cape Winelands.

“We thank him for his service and wish him well in his future endeavours,” the statement added.

Steve Barker’s team has already bolstered their squad with the signings of Lehlogonolo Mojela and Sanele Barns from TS Galaxy and Richards Bay respectively. A move that adds depth in forward and wide positions for the upcoming season. Additionally, Nhlanhla Mgaga was confirmed as the first player to depart the club ahead of the new campaign.

As the transfer window heats up, all eyes are on SuperSport United and their pursuit of Keagan Dolly. Stay tuned for more updates as this story unfolds. As SuperSport United prepares to make a major statement with the potential signing of Keagan Dolly from Kaizer Chiefs.
